Details
On 27 February 2020, Natural England submitted a report to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs setting out the proposals for improved access to the coast between Eastbourne and Camber (EBC).
The opportunity to comment closed at midnight on 9 June 2020. You can no longer make a representation or objection on proposals.
All representations and objections will be considered before the Secretary of State makes a final decision about the report.
The report is available as a series of separate documents. You should:
- read the overview which includes background information to help you understand the proposals and maps
- use the index map to find the relevant chapter for the length of coast you are interested in
- open the corresponding chapter of the report for more information
Outcome
On 1 October 2021, the Secretary of State approved the proposals for lengths EBC1 and EBC3 to EBC6.
On 6 April 2022, the Secretary of State approved the proposals for length EBC2.
On 27 July 2023, the Secretary of State approved the proposals for length EBC7 (MR1).
