This is the third annual report for the National Security Adviser from the Huawei Cyber Security Evaluation Centre (HCSEC) Oversight Board. It has now completed its third full year of work and has covered a number of areas of HCSEC’s work over the course of the year 2016 to 2017.
The board concludes HCSEC fulfilled its obligations in respect of the provision of assurance that any risks to UK national security from Huawei’s involvement in the UK’s critical networks have been sufficiently mitigated.
