This guidance is for inspectors carrying out a joint targeted area inspection (JTAI) of the multi-agency response to the identification of initial need and risk (also known as the ‘front door’) in a local authority area in England.
These JTAIs are carried out by inspectors from:
- Ofsted
- Care Quality Commission (CQC)
- His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS)
