Use form RM01 to apply for a licence to import live animals covered by the Rabies Order (Importation of Dogs, Cats and Other Mammals) 1974.
Guidance note RM01A explains how to complete the form.
This licence does not cover pet dogs, cats or ferrets.
Some imported animals are exempt from quarantine if there is little risk of rabies - APHA will decide if quarantine is necessary when they receive the completed form.
