Details

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) diagnoses made in GP settings are collated from anonymised, patient-level medical records of a representative sample of patients registered with GPs in England. Hospital inpatient admissions are extracted from hospital episode statistics (HES). Data from sexual health services is obtained from the GUMCAD STI surveillance system.
