Details

This prison service instruction (PSI) outlines the rules for playing film, television and music in prison to a group audience. It covers:

  • licensing requirements for showing films (including on DVD) to groups of staff or prisoners
  • requirements and exemptions for TV licences
  • licensing requirements for playing music in public spaces, such as staff offices, restrooms and canteens, prisoner workplaces, kitchens, workshops and visitor centres

This is a current PSI. It came into effect on 28 March 2011.
