Details

Larch trees infected with ‘Phytophthora ramorum’ produce spores that can spread the disease. To minimise the spread risk during felling operations, special precautions are needed when felling larch that are, or could be, infected.

Read the operations note guidance for details of the process for handling felling licence applications that include the felling or thinning of larch trees susceptible to the ‘P. ramorum’ infection.
