The Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation (CDEI) public attitudes tracker survey monitors how public attitudes towards the use of data and data-driven technologies change over time, as well as assessing the drivers of trust in data use.
This research report is an addendum to the tracker survey, and is being published with a specific focus on public attitudes regarding digital regulation (i.e. the rules that govern digital technologies), providing insights into digital regulatory issues including consumer choice, online safety, and people’s ability to exchange accurate information online reliably.
This report summarises the first and second waves of survey research (see full data tables). The research was conducted by Savanta on behalf of the CDEI.
