This research was commissioned to support the government’s electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure strategy.

It explores current attitudes, behaviours and motivations of UK drivers without off-street parking in relation to future chargepoint needs, including:

  • driving and parking behaviours and attitudes
  • EV charging behaviours
  • concerns and issues with public charging provision
  • views on different EV charging options and locations

BritainThinks completed the research on behalf of the Department for Transport.
