On 10 May and 11 August 2016, Rotherham’s Lead Commissioner wrote to the Secretary of State with the 15-month and 18-month progress reports on the work of the commissioners and provided additional information, in support of the return of the licensing function to the council.
The letter from the Department for Communities and Local Government outlines a revised intervention package proposed by the Secretary of State, and invites representations via the council.
