Details

This sentinel surveillance study began in 2002 with the aim of gathering information on testing for hepatitis C within sentinel laboratory services, to inform local and national healthcare planning and help reduce incidence and prevalence. It has since been expanded so as to cover all regions and to include hepatitis B and A; since 2010, hepatitis D and E; and since 2011 HIV and HTLV testing.
