Details

These rules allow you to store materials on a floodplain for up to 8 weeks. You must remove them after 8 weeks.

They do not allow you to store materials within:

  • 8 metres of a flood defence
  • 8 metres of a non-tidal river and 16 metres of a tidal river

All materials must be related to and stored adjacent to where specific works are carried out.

Materials must be stored parallel to the river bank and have a 1 metre break every 10 metres.
