Details

These rules allow you to repair and protect up to 20 metres of main river bank using natural materials, such as:

  • willow for willow spilling
  • hurdles made from hazel

These rules do not allow these activities on or within:

  • 8 metres of flood defences
  • 50 metres of another section of river bank that has already been reinforced in the last 2 years

You must not carry out these activities during the fish breeding season.
