Details
Round 3 is now closed for applications, but funding is still being allocated.
In rounds 1, 2 and 4 of the UK Seafood Fund: Infrastructure Scheme, £56.25 million was awarded to 30 projects to support the long-term sustainability of the fisheries and seafood sector.
These projects will strengthen the seafood supply chain, bring social and economic benefits, and reduce the seafood industry’s impact on the environment.
In round 1 of the infrastructure scheme £16 million was awarded to 6 projects:
- £11.1 million was awarded to 4 projects in England
- £4.9 million was awarded to 2 projects in Scotland
In round 2 of the infrastructure scheme £40.1 million was awarded to 21 projects:
- £15 million was awarded to 8 projects in England
- £18.7 million was awarded to 10 projects in Scotland
- £3.8 million was awarded to 2 projects in Wales
- £2.6 million was awarded to 1 project in Northern Ireland
In round 4 of the infrastructure scheme £154,000 was awarded to 3 recreational sea fishing projects:
- £54,000 was awarded to 2 projects in England
- £100,000 was awarded to 1 project in Scotland
