Are you hiring?

Then take a look at Jobcentre Plus.

We have lots of quality candidates and can help find the match for you, whether that’s for one vacancy, or many.

We’re here to help employers recruit, develop and retain quality people

who can help your organisation thrive.

Our local experts can assist you in finding the talent you’re looking for to grow your business.

Our Employer Advisers will work with you to understand your business’s needs and develop a tailored recruitment plan providing you with support throughout the process.

We’ll find great candidates, advise on pre-employment training work trials, sector-specific training and any local funding available to help you fill your vacancies.

We can help to ensure your opportunities are accessible to the widest pool of potential candidates, ensuring you aren’t missing out on talented disabled candidates, and we can provide information on the Disability Confident Scheme, the Health Adjustment Passport, and Access to Work.

Extra support is available to employers committed to creating opportunities for those who may need more help to secure jobs.

This includes advice on writing job descriptions, promoting your vacancies in local jobcentres pre-screening candidates, providing you with a shortlist of the most suitable people, and inviting you to local recruitment events.

We can also offer use of our Jobcentre facilities, such as rooms for interviews or IT suites for training events.

Facilities do vary across the country, talk to your Employer Adviser to discuss what’s available.

You can also advertise your jobs through our online Find a Job service. It’s viewed by millions of people each week.

Together we can make a real difference to the lives of jobseekers and the local community.

For more information please contact Employer Services by completing the online enquiry form that can be found on GOV.UK. Just search for ‘Help for Recruiters’.

Alternatively, you can phone 0800 169 0178.

Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
