Details

The review was commissioned to help us better understand any model risks of using NTMv5 for its proposed user cases and thoroughly review the model, as analysis carried out using NTMv5 could impact:

• a large number of transport users
• individuals affected by transport infrastructure

NTM version 5 includes greater spatial detail than NTM version 2 and is used to analyse national transport – policy and road strategy – and produce road traffic forecasts.
