Ovine and caprine germinal products: model health certificates
Competent authorities of exporting countries should use the relevant model health certificate as a template to create a version exporters can apply for to export ovine or caprine semen or embryos to Great Britain, the Channel Islands or Isle of Man.

Details
From 1 January 2021, ovine or caprine semen or embryos exported to Great Britain must be accompanied by the relevant health certificate. Exporters should read the guide on how to complete a health certificate.
Certificate GBHC820
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificates for ovine or caprine semen dispatched from an approved semen collection centre (SEM-OVC-CC).
Certificate GBHC821
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificates for ovine or caprine semen dispatched from an approved semen storage centre (Decision 2010/472) (SEM-OVC-SC).
Certificate GBHC822
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for imports of consignments of ova and embryos of animals of the ovine and caprine species (Decision 2010/472) (OE-OVC).
