Poultry meat: model health certificates
Competent authorities of exporting countries should use the relevant model health certificate as a template to create a version exporters can apply for to export poultry meat to Great Britain, the Channel Islands or Isle of Man.

Poultry meat exported to Great Britain must be accompanied by the relevant health certificate. Exporters should read the guide on how to complete a health certificate.
Certificates GBHC330
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for meat of poultry (Regulation 798/2008) (POU).
Certificate GBHC331
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for transit and storage of specified pathogen-free eggs, meat, minced meat and mechanically separated meat of poultry, ratites and wild game-birds, eggs and egg products (Regulation 798/2008) (POU-T).
Certificates GBHC332
Must be used from 31 January 2025 by all countries.
Model health certificate for mechanically separated meat of poultry (POU-MSM).

We have replaced all EU certificates ending in E with new certificates that can be used by all countries. EU countries must use the new certificates from 31 October 2023. Non-EU countries can continue using certificates ending in X or start using the new certificates. We will communicate the deadline for non-EU countries switching to the new certificates in due course.

We have updated the approval dates for GBHC074E version 3.0 and GBHC074X version 3.1. They will now be accepted until 17 September 2023.
