This independent report was produced by University College London and the University of Cambridge on behalf of the Office for Product Safety and Standards. It examines how consumers perceive the risks associated with smart products, how they attribute blame when these products fail causing harm, and what actions they are prepared to take in response. It draws on online experiments with 1850 UK participants.
