Summary
This guidance explains the standards (appropriate measures) that are relevant to regulated facilities with an environmental permit to treat or transfer waste temperature exchange equipment (WTEE).
It includes the relevant requirements and emission limits from the waste treatment BAT reference document and BAT conclusions for the treatment of WEEE containing volatile fluorocarbons (VFCs) and volatile hydrocarbons (VHCs).
You must also follow the guidance in waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE): appropriate measures for permitted facilities. The WTEE appropriate measures are additional to those for WEEE.
