All beneficial owners, officers, and managers (BOOMs) undergoing the fit and proper (F&P) test must provide a copy of an ID document and proof of address. Guidance on acceptable form of identification documents is available on ECSH45798.
New fit and proper applications
The authorisations admin caseworker will send a requirement to provide information and documents to all BOOMs included in the business’ application form requiring them to provide information and documents in order to determine if they are F&P persons. This letter includes the requirement for the BOOM to provide a copy of an ID document.
The BOOM must provide these documents within 21 days.

Annual refresh fit and proper applications
The F&P test decision maker will send a request for information and documents to any newly added BOOMs requesting that they provide information and documents in order to determine if they are F&P persons.
