This document outlines the types of assistance individuals and organisations can provide to those seeking guidance on their immigration status or requiring advice and support with an immigration matter.

It also clarifies which activities are regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) or other legal services regulators, such as the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Bar Standards Board, CILEx Regulation, or their equivalents in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
