Digital Economy Act register of information
Governance documents for public service delivery, debt and fraud data-sharing agreements involving local authorities and other government departments that HMRC publishes under the Digital Economy Act.
As part of the Digital Economy Act 2017 (DEA), HMRC needs to publish certain governance documents relating to public service delivery, debt and fraud data-sharing pilots.
The data is required in pilots, for example, for identifying and supporting vulnerable customers, for detecting fraud, and for recovering debt in the public sector.
If the pilots are successful and approved for business as usual, the agreements relating to this will be published.
Documents are organised within specific years and cross-referenced to the Digital Economy Act register.
Agreements appear under the year in which they were approved.
